Home-Start Camden offers free, confidential support, friendship and practical help to parents of children under five in the London Borough of Camden. In 2014 they approached VAC for advice on how to deal with redundancy.

This volunteer had never had a job in an office. She volunteered at VAC for 1.5 years which helped her develop essential skills to help her in her search for paid employment, including skills in IT, admin and communication.
South Hampstead and Kilburn Partnership (SHAK) supplies adult education services to local residents in the Kilburn ward. Its mission is to increase local community confidence and support community members in reaching their full potential. SHAK have a longstanding relationship with VAC, in particular the use of our Employment and HR advice service. Doorstep Homeless Families Project provides access to vital services for Homeless families living in temporary accommodation in the London Borough of Camden. Faced with severe funding cuts in 2011, Vicki Fox, director of Doorstep, approached VAC for support to develop a 5 year strategic business plan to help steer the organisation through uncertain waters.
