Voluntary Action Camden are working with MIND in Camden and other local partners organising activities and information sessions to help people manage their health and well-being. The Healthy Minds programme offers local people a wide range of free and low-cost activities to support you in rediscovering your interests and uncovering different community resources.
Hand Massage: This is a method of reflexology that concentrates on areas of the hand by rubbing of the fingers and knuckles. It promotes general good health and improves circulation throughout the body.
Shoulder Massage: It is a great as a stress buster and can make you feel recharged and relaxed. This is one of the best ways to cure discomfort and pain in the shoulders and neck.
Amoratherapy: It is a form of alternative medicine, which practices the use of aromatic essential oils from a variety of plants including lavender, tea tree and rosemary. It can be inhaled or applied to the skin and assist as a deep relaxation technique. It can be used on various parts of the joints to stimulate mood and tension.

At the end of the class on Monday 16th October and Friday 1st December, there will be individual information sessions available to respond to any questions on where you can continue to practice and more general enquiries on community resources.
