Aims/priorities:
The Foundation supports charities in three ways: Small Grants Scheme, supporting charities in all fields with a turnover of less than £100,000 per annum; Main Grants Scheme, supporting charities whose core work covers Arts and Learning (though generally not community arts activity); School Library Scheme. The Small Grants Scheme is designed to support smaller charities in the UK, especially those working at grass roots and local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities. You need to demonstrate in the application that the funding will make a significant difference to your work.
Eligibility: Charities, Schools, Universities. Smaller local charities (turnover less than £100,000) in relation to Small Grants.
Value: £1,000 to £10,000.
Process: Download small grants guidance and application form from the website. Form to be signed and posted with a copy of your latest accounts.
Deadlines: None. May take up to 4 months to receive a decision (6 months for capital projects).
