Survivors’ Poetry is a national literature organisation dedicated to celebrating the creative expression of survivors of the mental health system and to promoting poetry by survivors of mental distress. Having attended our Introduction to Coaching and Peer Mentoring Course, Celia Potterton, Trustee of Survivor’s Poetry was able to mentor other trustees within the organisation to address some of the organisation’s key issues.
Doorstep Homeless Families Project provides access to vital services for Homeless families living in temporary accommodation in the London Borough of Camden. Faced with severe funding cuts in 2011, Vicki Fox, director of Doorstep, approached VAC for support to develop a 5 year strategic business plan to help steer the organisation through uncertain waters.
