Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) – 2 Day Course (12th & 19th November 2015)

Are you a BMER group or working with BMER communities?  If YES then this training is targeted to you.


This is a 2-day course:  runs on Thursday 12th November and Thursday 19th November 2015 (9.30am – 5pm both days)


What does the course cover?  


This two-day course looks at a range of mental and emotional health issues affecting young people aged 8 to 18, aiming to increase confidence and knowledge to provide comfort to a young person experiencing mental health problems. The course also raises awareness of mental health issues in the community, helping to reduce stigma and discrimination. This training is ideal for parents, youth workers, teachers, those who support young people, or anyone who wants to learn more about mental health.


Cost:


£25 for both days


Eligibility


Due to the requirements of our funding:  



  1. VAC can only accept bookings for mental health training from organisations that are based in Camden or  serve Camden residents.

  2. Places are limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation.
