DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 19th November: 10am – 12.00pm. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Camden Trustees and CEOs\nAND ALL WHO WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BEING A TRUSTEE AND GOOD GOVERNANCE:\nWe at VAC are excited to provide a space to connect\, learn\, and share  at the next online meeting on 3rd of November 2025. \nThis is a great opportunity to network and to meet our esteemed guest speaker\, the CEO of DSC Debra Allcock Tyler. \n  \nDebra Alcock Tyler has worked in the charitable and voluntary sector for nearly 40 years; she has served as a trustee of several charities including being the co-founder of the Small Charities Coalition and was its first Chair. She served on the Charity Commission’s SORP committee for over 7 years and is an internationally published author of several books on management and leadership including It’s a Battle on the Board. \n  \nWe’re very pleased that Debra has agreed to come and speak at our upcoming CEO and Trustees Network Meeting on Monday 3rd November\, 12:00 – 13:00. \n  \nWe would like to offer a free copy of Debra’s book\, It’s a Battle on the Board\, to 15 attendees drawn at random from all who complete and return  a survey about this event upon its completion. \n  \nIf you are a Trustee or a CEO in Camden and wish to join the Networks and to get the link to the online Networks meeting on 3rd of November – 12:00 to 13:00 –  please email Vania at vguetova@vac.org.uk or Ricky at rsingh@vac.org.uk. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us to in our celebration event to thank trustees for all the hard work they do supporting charities and community groups in Camden.\n  \nIn order to celebrate the achievements and contributions of trustees in Camden\, Voluntary Action Camden and Volunteer Centre Camden would like to invite you to Camden’s annual Charity Trustees Appreciation and Networking event. \n  \nA drinks reception and finger buffet will be provided. (There will be halal\, vegetarian and gluten free options) \n  \nSpeakers (TBC)\, will be attending to show their appreciation for the contribution that you make to Camden. \n  \nThe evening will include an opportunity for you to meet and network with other Camden trustees. \n  \nThe invite is for a maximum of two trustees from your organisation.
