Camden Clinical Commissioning Group, ‘CCCG’’ is a new organisations created under the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
What is the CCCG?
CCCG is an independent statutory body, governed by members who are the GP practices in Camden. The CCCG has control of a local health care budget and ‘buys’ local healthcare services on behalf of a local population. This includes most hospital services and community based services like blood testing and physiotherapy.
NOTE: The Camden CCG is changing in 2020 as the 5 boroughs that make up the North Central London area merge to form one CCG covering the whole area.
