What is the Good Growth Fund
The Good Growth Fund is the Mayor of London’s new regeneration programme from 2017-18 to 2020-21, delivered through the London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP). It will provide over £66 million capital funding from sources including the Local Growth Fund and European Social Fund , as well as expert regeneration advice, design support and knowledge sharing opportunities.
Eligible Expenditure
The Good Growth Fund has been designed to support three strategic themes:
- Empowering People
- Making Better Places
- Growing Prosperity
Each theme comes with its own set of challenges and opportunities, and no theme can be considered in isolation.
The provider wants to fund a range of projects as part of the Good Growth Fund and hope applicants respond creatively to suggestions with proposals that address the interrelated strategic themes.
Projects may deliver on one or more of the following actions:
- Developing Civic Infrastructure
- Backing Small Business
- Securing and Create Workspace
- Driving Innovation
- Building Skills and Employability
- Delivering Community-led Regeneration
- Enhancing Public Space
- Sharing Culture
How to Apply
Applications for Round 2 will be open 4 June 2018 with a further £20 million of funding available. The application process is made up of two stages. For Stage 1 applicants must complete an Expression of Interest form, using the form available on the Good Growth page of the GLA website. Completed forms and supporting documents must be sent to the provider electronically.
