What is the Good Growth Fund
The Good Growth Fund is the Mayor of London’s new regeneration programme from 2017-18 to 2020-21, delivered through the London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP). It will provide over £66 million capital funding from sources including the Local Growth Fund and European Social Fund , as well as expert regeneration advice, design support and knowledge sharing opportunities.
The Good Growth Fund has been designed to support three strategic themes:
- Empowering People
- Making Better Places
- Growing Prosperity
Each theme comes with its own set of challenges and opportunities, and no theme can be considered in isolation.
The provider wants to fund a range of projects as part of the Good Growth Fund and hope applicants respond creatively to suggestions with proposals that address the interrelated strategic themes.
Projects may deliver on one or more of the following actions:
- Developing Civic Infrastructure
- Backing Small Business
- Securing and Create Workspace
- Driving Innovation
- Building Skills and Employability
- Delivering Community-led Regeneration
- Enhancing Public Space
- Sharing Culture
