The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust gives grants to registered charities that work in the UK. We have re-structured our Grants programme for 2017. This is in response to the significantly increased number of applications that we now receive.
The Bright Ideas Trust (BIT) is intended specifically to help young entrepreneurs. It will address the issue of first – time businesses failing soon after setting up, due to a lack of experience. The Trust will provide advice, guidance and funding to help young people get their ideas off the ground.
HMRC has set aside £1.5 million per year for the next three years for VCSE organisations to provide advice and support to HMRC customers who need extra help understanding and complying with their tax obligations.
