We are able to offer varied volunteering opportunities to people wanting to improve their skills whilst doing something constructive to support the local community and voluntary sector in Camden.

VAC recruits and trains Community Links Volunteers to work with local GP practices promoting community based health and well-being services.
Becoming a VAC trustee
The Board of Trustees is our governing body and it sets the overall strategy and direction of the organisation. If you feel you have something to offer VAC as a Trustee then we would love to hear from you.
Volunteering and finding volunteeers in Camden
Volunteering is a really rewarding way to help improve the lives of others in your local area. There are many opportunities to volunteer to work for Camden charities or voluntary organisations.
Informal volunteering and social action
There are many informal ways to get involved with your local community from organising a campaign to helping out at a street party; from caring for a neighbour to starting an exercise club. We can show you lots of ideas.
Volunteering for VAC has improved my confidence and I believe it has helped me gain experience to assist in my vocational development in working towards employment. The various trainings provided by VAC for volunteers have also helped me learn new skills and brush up my knowledge.
