The Camden New Groups Network is for anyone VAC has supported over the past year to set up a new Camden charity or community group, as well as those who are thinking of contacting VAC for support in choosing how to register and what legal structures to choose from.

We know the importance of having someone to talk to when you are just starting out, so whether you have recently registered your organisation; are drafting your Articles of Association; or developing a fundraising strategy, this group is for you. This is a closed peer support group, facilitated by VAC. 

By joining the group, you will have the opportunity to:

·         Connect – meet other likeminded people who have either just registered their organisation/group, or are in process

·         Share – hear from others about their experience, and share yours

·         Learn – discover best practice and explore different approaches

 Once joined, you will be invited to a series of online and in-person events throughout the year. These events are designed to encourage, guide, support and develop your ideas. We will be discussing the common challenges and requirements that you face when starting a new charity, social enterprise, or community group. 

You will have the opportunity to share experiences with others and seek the advice and support of your peers. Our events will provide a non-judgmental, highly supportive space for you to Connect, Learn and Share.
