DBS Checks Information

What is DBS?

DBS stands for the Disclosure and Barring Service, a UK government agency that conducts criminal records checks and maintains barred lists for those working with vulnerable groups. These checks, known as DBS checks, help employers make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain roles.
