Introduction to Data Collection and Analysis Workshop
This session is part of a series of two-hour workshops being delivered for VAC’s Digital and IT Capacity Building Programme, in partnership with WCIT and CITA.
The workshop will be delivered online using Zoom. Joining instructions will be sent to all those who book on Eventbrite.
Workshop Format and Topics
The online workshop will last two hours and focus on the core topics set out below. There will plenty of time for questions and answers and we urge all attendees to bring real issues to the discussions for our experts to assist with. This session will cover:
- What do we mean by data
- Understanding your business
- What data should we collect and why
- How to collect data, including tools
- Analysis and performance
- Roles and responsibilities
- Data do’s and dont’s
Delegates come away with a clear understanding of:
- what data is and the importance of data collection
- What data to collect and why
- Tools available to support data collection and analysis
- Methods of analysing data and measuring performance
Who should come to the workshop?
The objective is to introduce small charities and community groups to the core concepts of data collection and analysis. This is an introductory session aimed at those who have no or very basic knowledge of the subject area.
Workshops are free for all voluntary and community groups in Camden. If you are not based in Camden but still interested in attending please contact email@example.com before booking to check availability as priority is given to Camden groups.
