Do you engage with individuals who are looking after a friend or family member who couldn’t manage without their support, because of a health condition, mental health condition, disability or frailty?
Do they know they are a carer, and as a carer, have rights and are entitled to support?
Many carers experience wide ranging health inequalities, and at the same time don’t get the support they are legally entitled to.
At Camden Carers, our mission is to provide tailored support to those who spend their time caring, unpaid, for others.
This one-hour session will give you an opportunity to learn more about the support services on offer at Camden Carers and discover how best to identify carers and refer carers to our service, so that they can get the support they need.
Who should attend: For staff working in a health and care setting, and volunteers or organisations engaging with unpaid carers or individuals with care needs”
Notes for members:
Places for this session are extremely limited and open to VAC members and voluntary organisations / groups delivering services in Camden only.
