Have you ever wondered who cares for the carer?
Do they know they are a carer, and as a carer, have rights and are entitled to support?
If you engage with individuals who are looking after a friend or family member who couldn’t manage without their support, this person is providing an unpaid care service.
This could be because the person has a health condition, mental health condition, disability or is frail.
Many carers experience wide ranging health inequalities, and at the same time don’t get the support they are legally entitled to.
At Camden Carers, our mission is to provide tailored support to those who spend their time caring, unpaid, for others.
This face-to-face session will give attendees an opportunity to:
The session will also provide attendees with an opportunity to hear from VAC’s Camden Care Navigation and Social Prescribing service, which connect residents with community-based activities and social opportunities that support their health and well-being.
All organisations, groups, volunteers or members of the community working in a health or a care setting, as well as those engaging with unpaid carers or individuals with care needs.
