Face to Face: Introduction to Safeguarding: Protecting Children in the Community.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, regardless of your job role, how frequently you work with children, or how often you interact with young people and their families.

If you work, support or volunteer for an organisations or group delivering services to children, young people or their families in Camden; you have a vital part to play in keeping them safe.

This face-to-face session provides learners with essential knowledge and skills needed to effectively safeguarding children and young people.

Designed for volunteers, new starters and those with no previous safeguarding training; this course introduces the four types of abuse, how to recognise the signs, and what to do if you see or hear something that isn’t right.

Protecting an adult's right to live in safety, free from abuse, neglect, or exploitation is just as important as protecting the rights of children.
