Do want to strengthen your communication skills and build more meaningful, trusting relationships with the individuals, families and residents you support?
Join us for this in-person training session, where we explore how effective communication can improve engagement, inclusion, and outcomes for the families you support.
Designed specifically for voluntary sector organisations, volunteers, and community groups in mind; this practical workshop offers interactive and supportive session aims to strengthen communication, build connections, and help you deliver better support to the families in your community.
Content suitable for all.
The session will cover:
- Practical tools to communicate clearly, including listening skills and setting boundaries.
- Strategies for engaging families from diverse backgrounds.
- Tips for building trust and positive relationships.
- Understanding barriers to engagement and how to overcome them.
- Opportunities to share experiences and learn from others working in Camden.
Note for learners:
- Places for this session are extremely limited and open to VAC members and voluntary organisations / groups delivering services in Camden only.
- All ticket registrations will be verified, and non-attendees may be restricted from attending future VAC training and events.
- Please note: All attendees will be asked to complete a short assessment after training.

Non-attendance:
- VAC kindly ask that if you book a place and are unable to attend on the day, please arrange for a volunteer or another member of your organisation to attend in your place.

- Failure to notify VAC of non-attendance in advance, will result in your organisation / groups restriction to attend future training sessions.
