Face-to-face: Voluntary organisational structures: What’s right for you?

Thinking about setting up your own group or organisation but not sure which direction to take?
Are you currently delivering a project run by the community, for the community but need help developing it further?
VAC’s Health Transformation and Partnership Development Manager, Donna Turnbull may be able to provide some insights.
With over 20 years of experience in the sector, Donna shares her knowledge of different organisational structures, and why making the right choice for your community project or voluntary group can help avoid problems later on.
At the end of this session, you will have a better understanding of governance structures that include:
- A Unincorporated Association.
- Registered charity and CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation).
- CIC’s (Community Interest Company).
The session will provide an opportunity to ask questions, network and offer 1-2-1 follow-up support if needed.
