This introductory session aims to give learners an introduction to adult safeguarding, with a focus on preventing abuse and ensuring safety and well-being.

Using group discussions and real-life case studies, Helen Onslow; a Lead Practitioner in Camden’s Adult Social Care team will cover all safeguarding essentials.

At the end of the session learners will gain an understanding of:

Managing money and Value for Money
Legal mismanagement and public funds.
Keeping accurate financial records.
Budgeting & cashflow
Monitoring costs (briefly)
