Run for VAC in the London Marathon!
VAC have secured a place in the London Marathon 2027, and we’re looking for someone to run under our name! Taking place in April 2027, the Marathon is one of the most popular running events worldwide and it’s famously difficult to secure a place.
We’re incredibly excited to be a part of the flagship London run, and we want to hear from runners who are keen to take part and help us raise money so we can continue supporting Camden’s charity, voluntary and community sector. For our part, we will campaign to match whatever you, as the runner, can raise in donations.
If you’re interested in running, please get in touch! Most importantly we want to know what it is that makes you really want to run the London Marathon. We would also like to hear about your running background, an estimate as to how much you think you might be able to fundraise (we are hoping to raise £5,000 in total so our target for a runner is £2,500), and your location. Please remember only people 18 and over can take part in the London Marathon!
On our side, we’ll be providing all the practical support needed to fundraise through the Enthuse platform, and we’ll be with you every step of the way supporting wherever we can. We’ll tell the story on our social media channels, so we’re looking for someone who will be happy with their picture taken and appearing online.
