Holiday 2021 Update to Members and Subscribers

17th December 2021

A Blended Year…

2021 has been another difficult year as pandemic continues. We have all experienced hope and worry, highs and lows. We have done some things in person, while others things have remained firmly online. What is considered the normal and everyday has changed for all of us.
It has been a blended year in so many ways.
Despite the circumstances VAC and the voluntary and community sector has had a successful year as we all continue to serve our local communities. If you’d like to learn more about the VAC year, please read our Autumn update here.
We are also excited by the arrival of our new CEO Keith Morgan. The first chance to meet Keith was at last Wednesday’s VAF where Keith introduced himself and answered questions. If you missed it, you can view the recording here
We have an exciting new website which we launched in November and whatever the new year brings we are in a good position to continue our work.
The year could also be considered blended for us because, while we are thrilled to be welcoming Keith, it is with sadness that we say goodbye to Kevin Nunan and thank him for the many years of incredible work both with VAC and within the sector as a whole.
Whether you will be continuing to work next year or are planning new adventures we hope you are able to have an enjoyable and relaxing festive period.
