Three New Funds From Camden Giving
Camden COVID-19 Charity Fund –
Round 2 Now Open
The COVID-19 Charity Fund has been created due to the extraordinary demands that charities and social enterprises are facing because of the coronavirus pandemic. Following generous support from Camden’s community, our resident panel were able to award grants to 29 projects in the first round of this fund. We continued fundraising via our Emergency Appeal and have now opened a second round of the fund.
The purpose of the second round is to award grants of up to £5,000 to not-for-profit organisations who provide services to people living in the borough of Camden. The fund aims to support organisations with unrestricted/core costs to help them continue their vital work and to support those delivering emergency responses to vulnerable groups in Camden.
This is a challenging time for all charities, but this crisis looks likely to have a disproportionate impact on small and medium-sized charities and charities serving Camden’s BAME communities.
Camden Giving is working with a diverse group of 7 Camden residents to decide which applicants will receive funding.
The COVID-19 Emergency Fund panel will only review your application based on either of the following criteria:
1. Your organisation had an annual income of less than £200k in the last financial year
2. Your organisation has a track record of providing specialised services to BAME communities in Camden (i.e. this is the main focus of your organisation)
Please share this fund with your networks and ask them to apply by 23:59pm on Monday 1st June 2020by following this link.
We recommend you have a chat with one of the team before starting your application, you can do this by joining our virtual drop-ins, or by scheduling a call with Hafid. Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

In June 2019, 10 young Camden residents awarded £85,000 to 9 different local youth services to improve the safety and wellbeing of young people in the borough. We call them the #FutureChangemakers because they are changing the future of our community!
We have now launched the second year of the fund and the Future Changemakers panel welcome proposals from organisations that aim to improve the safety of Camden’s young people aged 16-25.
The deadline for the Future Changemakers Fund is 23:59pm on Monday 8th June.
