Single Homeless Accommodation Programme

About the Fund

The objective of the Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) is to fund the delivery of accommodation, with support, to address gaps in homelessness pathway provision. SHAP will target two groups: those with the longest histories of rough sleeping, or the most complex needs, to help them recover from rough sleeping and its associated traumas; and vulnerable young people (age 18-25) at risk of or experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping. The focus will be on longer term accommodation. Given the likely support needs of these target groups, supported housing, Housing First and housing-led schemes will be within scope.

Application Deadline

Capital funding is available for homes that will start and complete from April 2023 to the end of March 2025, and up to three years of revenue funding is available to fund much-needed support to the Londoners who will move into these homes.
