Face-to-face: Managing Allegations About Members of Staff or Volunteers (Camden’s Local Authority Designated Officer – LADO)
Crowndale Centre 218 Eversholt Street, London, England, United KingdomDo you have policies in place to manage a potential allegation made against a member of staff or volunteer?
The Camden Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (CSCP) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in the borough at all aspects of their lives.
To achieve this, the partnership expects all those providing services for children and young people to create a safe and secure environment.
This means having policies in place to manage allegations made against members of staff or volunteers in your organisation, including community activities, after-school clubs or tuition centres.
This session aims to support voluntary sector groups in their understanding of what to do if concerns are raised that the person may not be suitable to work with children.
