Community Response to Knife Crime

The Camden community has come together to fight knife crime and create Camden Against Violence (CAV) a diverse group of local people.  A number of meetings have been held in the Kentish Town and Queens Crescent areas including a large meeting at St Lukes in Kentish Town.  CAV organised a silent march on Thursday and aim to make some clear political demands as they see political solutions as key to bringing about change. Follow CAV on twitter and their website for the latest news and updates, or email camdenagainstviolence@outlook.com

Faith, identity and security – join the conversation

Sunday 22 April, 11am-6pm, 3FF, Star House, Kentish Town, NW5
Security matters to all of us. We all have a stake in the task of building a more secure society, both within the UK and in the wider world. Escalating violence and insecurity suggest that current approaches are not working. Part of the reason for this is that they do not adequately reflect the needs, concerns and hopes of a broad range of people.
On Sunday 22 April, 3FF will be hosting an event in partnership with Rethinking Security (RS): an organisation which promotes conversations about security in different communities.
We invite you to join with others for a conversation about security: what it means to people of different faiths and beliefs and how it can be improved, both here in the UK and globally. Find out more and apply here.
