The government have announced the Local Covenant Partnerships fund as part of the Civil Society covenant, find out more and keep up to date on all the events, jobs and projects happening over the next few weeks.

 

There’s also some sad news in this week’s newsletter about the passing of local resident and well-known figure in Camden’s charity sector, Peter Simonson.

Organisations with a relationship with the Somers Town area are invited to give their insights on the area for the new neighbourhood plan – scroll down to surveys, resources and opportunities to learn more.

Elsewhere there was a whole bunch of financial reporting changes and accounting rules announced in the last week by DCMS and the Charity Commission, which you can read about in the next section.

VAC had our latest CEO and Trustees Networks meeting on Monday, featuring our guest Debra Allcock Tyler who shared lots of interesting resources and analysis for running a charity board in 2025, and we’re now looking forward to a really engaging session with Camden Carers on Wednesday.

There’s a real variety of events in the local VCS over the next week or two, so make sure you don’t miss those!
