VAC AGM

The VAC AGM is on Tuesday 20th April 5.00 – 6.30pm on zoom.   Discussion, a chance to meet other members and share plans. Hear about VAC’s work and our plans for next year.
Speakers: Leila Baker, Researcher and Co author of The Value of Small in a Big Crisis – the recent Lloyds Bank Foundation report into the distinctive contribution, value and experiences of small and medium-sized charities. And Caroline Howe, Policy and National Programmes Manager at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales on how the foundation is taking the findings forward.
The report – The Value of Small in a Big Crisis – finds that #SmallButVital charities played a key role in supporting people and communities throughout the pandemic in a way that public services and mutual aid could not. The report found that small charities ‘showed up and stuck around’. There is a great summary of the report findings in this Twitter thread and you can read the summary here. The concise two page summary is here.
Book your place at Eventbrite.  Or contact Ricky rsingh@vac.org.uk
