This Week’s Theme is Data!

Improving data exchange between local authorities, partners and VCS

We’ve all learned a lot about working in partnership during difficult times to better meet the needs of residents and communities. Data sharing was a key issue- if we can find a ways to improve would  make a significant difference in how we work as partners.  Take part in workshops to help find solutions:
An initial workshop with the VCS on Monday, September 21st from 12pm-1:30pm to work to identify the design challenge you think we should specifically be addressing together. You can sign up for this event here
Three workshops throughout the week of September 28th to start generating tangible solutions for how we address the design challenge you will have prioritised. You can sign up to any one of the following workshops:
1. Monday, 28th of September 12pm-2pm here
2. Tuesday, 29th of September 12pm-2pm here
3. Tuesday, 29th of September 4pm-6pm here

Keeping The Community Directory Up-to-date

As we enter Autumn lots is changing.  Buildings are starting to re-open, some activities are moving back into the real world, some food parcel deliveries have ended, while other food projects continue.  Help us to keep the directory up-to-date by updating your details as they change.
If you would like to make a new entry in the directory use this link.   If you would like to update an existing entry look out for an email from us early next week with a unique link for you to update.
View the Directory here.  View the map here.

Re-opening Community Buildings:
Locality Workshop Follow-up

Wednesday 23th September 10.00 – 12.00.
Locality are back with us to follow up on their July workshop about re-opening community buildings.  This willl be a chance to get updates on the current situation – up-to-date information on HSE and Public Health interpretations of current rules and risk assessments. There will be an opportunity to put your questions and concerns to the facilitators. It’s also a chance to share how those with buildings are gradually re-openning and re-starting activities.  What will happen if there is a second wave?  How do you blend online and real world activites?  What are the implications for budgets?  Book at VAC.
